Event Information

Flow Yoga is a physically challenging and deeply meditative class, fantastic for aiding flexibility and building strength in the body. With a strong focus on alignment and breath, and an extended relaxation at the end of each session, it’s a great class for anyone seeking an all-over mind body workout. Beginners welcome.

To secure your space on the mat please use the above booking service (click the 'Book' button and look for the drop-down menus to select your chosen date and payment option). 

 

If you would prefer not to pre-pay for the session then you can turn up to class on the day and pay cash, however attendance is subject to space and your place is not guaranteed. I was always endeavour to accomodate you if I possibly can. You can always drop Susie a text on 07971166492 before 6pm on the day of the class to check if there is space.

A Six Class Pass costs £40 and gives you six classes for the price of five. Classes to be used within a six month window.

 

Please note, purchasing this doesn't automatically book you on to a class. Once purchased you need to go on to the specific class booking page to reserve a space at your desired class. Book early to avoid disappointment.

* There is a first class introductory offer of £5! All pay as you go classes thereafter will be charged at the standard £8 per class. You can also purchase a six class pass for £40 – this guarantees you a space in your desired class and means you get six classes for the price of five. You can purchase a Six Class Pass using the online payment facility above (via PayPal), otherwise please bring cash on the day.

* A yoga mat is an essential part of practice. I have a number of mats available for your use, which will be issued on a first come first serve basis, otherwise you are welcome to bring your own mat and props.

* Classes will start promptly so please arrive 5-10 mins early to allow yourself time to find your spot, get settled and prepare for class to begin.

* Yoga can be wonderfully healing for physical ailments and former injuries, whilst also aiding pain relief. It is important to note, however, that your teacher should be fully aware of any current conditions or physical limitations you may have prior to attending class so that you can be guided through your practice effectively and safely. If this applies to you, please contact Susie to discuss your condition further.

* Try to avoid eating anything heavy at least 1-2 hours before class begins to ensure you feel energised and comfortable during class. That being said, never practice yoga on an entirely empty stomach – if you need to eat directly before class keep it light!

* Stay hydrated before, during and after class! Bring a bottle of water with you in case you need a drink during class.

* When it comes to working out what to wear, keep it comfy but not too baggy. You want something you can easily move around in but not something that will disappear over your head during your first downward dog! I also advise bringing layers – you’ll build up quite an internal heat during the more active parts of class but may get chilly during meditation and savasana.
